2011-02-08 New York, USA "Big Apple" - that is, New York. I came here for just two days early morning Delta flight at 10:20 am from Boston - just a short regional flight on board the CRJ 900 and cheaper than competitive train on this route.
The same town I will not dwell on - in a word, really impressed me, and I'm pretty picky. However, to truly experience the city's climate have come from a really fat wallet - as it is amazing, just amazing are the prices ...
extremely glad that I got the only hostel located on the Broadway-u, 3 minutes by subway from Times Square for less than $ 60!
stir a few pictures below, reflecting I think the most interesting places.
Parallel Landing with A320 Jet Blue at the airport JFK:

place of the former World Trade Center, now a construction site:

and other views of the city:

Times Square - meaning "crossroads of the world." I was in the middle of winter, it's hard for me to imagine how the plunger must be in season here!

    Central Park:

One of the many skyscrapers in Rockefeller Center:

Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue):

summary, a city worthy of attention but very expensive and quite dangerous at night when we move away from the main streets. So I recommend hostels, which can be booked in advance very cheap considering the conditions in the metropolis (such as www.booking.com) - not expect luxury, traditional hostel facilities <100zł / noc to łóżko w pokoju 8os, szafka, gniazdka z prądem - i to wszystko. Warto komunikować się świetnie rozbudowanym metrem, bilet na przejazd pojedynczy, niezależnie od jego długości to ,5 - taksówki dość drogie.
